With every expansion comes a new group of materials. The addition of new mats puts a strain on just what we can realistically keep in the guild bank. The expansion gives us a chance to reveiw what we have and what we think we'll actually use.
After discussion, your officers and I have redone the guild bank.
You notice, to the right, some new icons. These represent new tabs. We consolidated gems and ore, and enchanting and leatherworking. What you see here is the library and the reputation tab. If you're going for that mount which comes with 100 reputations, you'll want to come here and see what rep items you can use. Also, please, please, please take a look at the patterns and recipes we have. Learn what you don't know. SpecDeath has a huge amount of recipes in her bank. I'm tempted to sell them just to make room.
We have a new tab, the green cauldron, just for raiding. Current content raiding items are there. No raw materials will be allowed on this tab. This is for the finished product. We will use this tab when we resume Legacy raiding.
If you look at the gem and ore, and enchanting and leatherworking tabs, you'll see we have left materials from Warlords and Legion but pulled everything else. We just can't keep, in the bank, everything, so we made the decision to go with the last 2 expansions. Low Level Mats, the next to last tab, will have, mostly, cloth, but other items we think might be somewhat useful.
If you're clearing out your personal banks for BfA, and want to donate things, the best course of action is to send them to SpecDeathbk rather than put them in the bank. I'm kind of anal about how the bank looks and would rather be inundated with mail than have stuff all over.
The front tab, which is open to all, will have bags, Darkmoon Faire items, and things which we might be collecting for guild events or items of use to all members. I need silkweave to make bags so if you have blood of sargeras or stacks of cloth lying around, you can send cloth to Epicurian.
The gear tab is currently nearly empty. We are up to Mists of Pandaria era gear. This would be level 86 to 90. If you're looking for something to do, Pandaria raids can be solo'd and we'd love any gear for transmog.
We hope this rearrangement will help you find things. We encourage people to utilize the bank. Changes in crafting professions make it easier to level your profession. As always, please ask if you're looking for something. If an off-site bank doesn't have it, chances are good, a guild member does.
