Spectacular Death Tabbard

Spectacular Death (A-Llane-US) is the total WOW experience with lots of fun at a casual pace. We see and go to all places in the WOW universe from classic to current content, PvP and arena. This is no-pressure raiding at its finest with friendly, helpful people interested in working through all WOW has to offer together. We will never have a realm first in any endgame, but we will have the most fun when we arrive. Our "race" to see everything is more of a saunter with an emphasis on fun. Our guild motto is "Here. Hold my drink and watch this," so you can see where our emphasis lies.

This guild is not for everyone, however. You must review the Code of Conduct before asking to join. It is also recommended that you read our Raiding Guidelines as well.

For any questions about the above information, please talk to Gimmlette or any officer. If you are interested in hopping on the bus for the ride, please fill out our application. You will be contacted by Gimmlette or the membership officer after the application is received.

Guild Meet Up 2019

By Gimmlette a - Posted May 31, 18

Guild Meet-ups. They take planning. Dorelei is still offering her house for a September/October meet-up this year. I won't be able to attend, but there are enough of you within proximity to Canton, Georgia, that you could have a lovely visit for a few hours some Saturday. Please contact Dorelei and make arrangements. Take lots of photos when you do get together.

If nothing happens this year, that, too, is okay. I have to take a break from organizing meet-ups and this summer is already shaping up to be crazy for me. It's also not too early to look at 2019, and Zylostout and Wendrah have come forward to suggest it's time we Americans venture north of the border. They have offered their back yard

with a pool

for the 2019 guild meet-up. They live in Goodwood, Ontario, Canada. Here's where Goodwood is in relation to Toronto.

We've been to the east coast and Florida, so why not go north?

The meet-up will be Saturday, July 6th, which takes advantage of the July 4th holiday falling on a Thursday. Canada Day is Monday, July 1st and we considered the weekend before, but I felt, with most of our members in the US, taking advantage of this holiday would be a good idea.

Big thing you need to know.

So, if you're considering coming to this meet-up, you should get documents to cross the border. I'm giving you 13 months to get things in order. If you don't know, you apply for a passport at your local post office. This link gives you all the pertinent information.

Wendrah sent me a link to a wide variety of hotels in the area. Toronto is not that far away. If a bunch of us decided to arrive on July 4th, we could plan to do something on the 5th. (There used to be this amazingly awesome bookstore in downtown Toronto, a few blocks from the tower. And YOU can go to the top of the tower. I'll keep the ground from moving.) Or people could do something on the 7th. There's plenty to occupy extra days. I haven't been to Toronto in nearly 20 years so it will be a new experience. For reference, from my house to Wen and Zylo's is a 9 hour drive. For me, who drives to Virginia once a year, that's a piece of cake.

Therefore, put this on your calendar for next year. Get your travel documents now, and, we'll make more plans in May and June of next year, as the date gets closer.

Questions? Just ask.
