Spectacular Death (A-Llane-US) is the total WOW experience with lots of fun at a casual pace. We see and go to all places in the WOW universe from classic to current content, PvP and arena. This is no-pressure raiding at its finest with friendly, helpful people interested in working through all WOW has to offer together. We will never have a realm first in any endgame, but we will have the most fun when we arrive. Our "race" to see everything is more of a saunter with an emphasis on fun. Our guild motto is "Here. Hold my drink and watch this," so you can see where our emphasis lies.

This guild is not for everyone, however. You must review the Code of Conduct before asking to join. It is also recommended that you read our Raiding and Loot Guidelines as well.

For any questions about the above information, please talk to Gimmlette or any officer. Officers are listed under the "SD Guide" section of the web site menu. If you are interested in hopping on the bus for the ride, please fill out our application. It's under the "Join Us" button at the upper right. You will be contacted by Gimmlette or the membership officer after the application is received.

Trial of Style Returns

By Gimmlette a - Posted Mar 4, 18

It feels like a very long time ago, but the mini-event, "Trial of Style" returns on Monday. For those of us more than a little addicted to transmog, (See below, *cough) this event is where we really shine. Even if you can't stand tmog, it's worth doing the event, particularly with guild members. Our foray, as a guild, into the "Trial of Style" will be Friday. We'll group up and join in. An added bonus, transmog costs are 0 this week, so you can prepare a number of looks for the guild's end of the month event at no cost to you.

Just a note, we have a gear tab in the bank.

You are welcome to take a look at what's there and pull anything which is either an upgrade or, more importantly, something you don't know the appearance of.

A word because I know someone will ask, the orange X's. That is from an add-on "Can I Mog It". For tmog afficionados, this is a fantasic add-on. When you get a piece of gear, it tells you if you have learned it or if it's new to you. It how so many of us, when we run raids and someone says, "Does anyone need this cloak?", several of us will pipe up, I'll roll on it for tmog. "Can I Mog It" has told us we don't know that appearance.

The 'x's' indicate this toon does not know these appearances. This is the bank toon which is a level 10 paladin so a lot of gear isn't known. If you have gear which you've tried to sell and you're not going to DE it, feel free to dump it on this tab. Every so often, we will go through the tab and winnow things, but all gear is welcome. We try to sell gear in the AH when we do a clean out. If it doesn't sell there, it's either de-d, depending upon enchanting mats we need, or we vendor it and stick the money in the guild bank.

Low level greens are probably the most in demand, but you can put any in here. Low level crafted BoE stuff is good, too, and, if you are lacking mats to make a bunch of robes, for instance, just ask. We are sitting on a lot of cloth, excepting runecloth, embersilk, windwool, and silkweave. We don't have much of that stored off-site. (Here Gimm. 5,438 pieces of embersilk. You all know you want to hear me say, "I hate you all so much." when I open my mailbox and it explodes with cloth.) Netherweave. I'm drowning in netherweave.

Anyway, I'm excited to run all my toons through "Trial of Style". It's fun, fast, and it's so much fun to see what pieces others have. "That is so cool! Where did you get that?" If you have questions about crafting stuff for the tab or about what kind of gear might be most in need, just ask.
