Spectacular Death (A-Llane-US) is the total WOW experience with lots of fun at a casual pace. We see and go to all places in the WOW universe from classic to current content, PvP and arena. This is no-pressure raiding at its finest with friendly, helpful people interested in working through all WOW has to offer together. We will never have a realm first in any endgame, but we will have the most fun when we arrive. Our "race" to see everything is more of a saunter with an emphasis on fun. Our guild motto is "Here. Hold my drink and watch this," so you can see where our emphasis lies.

This guild is not for everyone, however. You must review the Code of Conduct before asking to join. It is also recommended that you read our Raiding and Loot Guidelines as well.

For any questions about the above information, please talk to Gimmlette or any officer. Officers are listed under the "SD Guide" section of the web site menu. If you are interested in hopping on the bus for the ride, please fill out our application. It's under the "Join Us" button at the upper right. You will be contacted by Gimmlette or the membership officer after the application is received.

A Wee Bit of Inaness

Gimmlette a posted Apr 23, 17

I pick up all loot. Running a raid like Icecrown Citadel takes me longer because I have to go back to the front and empty my bags. With Legion, there seems to be, at least to me, a lot more gray items with value to vendor. I'm not complaining, mind you, just making an observation. All those gray bits and bobs bought me a gun I didn't have and Nate's Fishing Chair, off the Black Market Auction House.

But when you're off doing invasions or on the Broken Shore, there seems to be a high amount of one particular gray item.

I mean, there's a serious amount of this stuff dropping off almost every demon. When I was doing invasions en route to Defender of the Broken Isles, I vendored so much of this stuff. It got me thinking. How much is out there? If we pooled our resources over a week, just how much would we collect, as a guild?

So, let's find out. Beginning today and ending Monday, May 1st, put any Sticky Volatile Substance on tab 1 in the guild bank. I found out they only stack to 60 so let's fill the front tab. If you want to sell yours, fine. On Tuesday, May 2nd, we'll total it all up and vendor it, with the cash going back into the bank. Of course I will be reporting on this to @WarcraftDevs so they can be apprised of our "scientific" research. FOR SCIENCE!

I don't want the congealed Felbood. Sell that. Stacks of it sell nicely, too. I only want the sticky stuff. Yes, this is a very silly event, but who else is going to conduct this kind of research? I've got two stacks to donate after an evening of demon hunting.

Transmog Contest

Gimmlette a posted Apr 23, 17

Friday, April 28th is this month's transmog contest. Silverkeg will be our judge, owing to his win last month. The theme is "Dress With Pepe".

Petey, on my left shoulder, is from "Talk Like a Pirate Day". I was cleaning my bags and decided he needed to come along while I cleared ICC.

Silverkeg would like, in addition to your transmog, a brief story of you and Pepe and how that influenced your gear. Remember to send him a letter of what you're wearing.

You're welcome to come look at the transmogs. We'll be in our usual spot in front of Stormwind Keep. Start meeting up at 8:45. Judging begins at 9:00 pm.

And, for the record, this is NOT my contest transmog.
